let me just say this. When you say you like a woman because she is a “strong female character,” you need to take a step back and look at this character. To you believe she’s a “strong, female character” because she’s existing in a role that has inherent male traits? Are you applauding her because she is, in effect, taking over a man’s role and adapting a masculine agency?
And then do you dislike a character that you claim is “weak” because she exists within confined feminine gender roles?
